Thanks for showing this, my son also has PDD-NOS. It is nice to see he has a great grasp of language. I can only hope the same for my son in the future.

Thank you very much for posting this video!
    Jake is an inspiration!!!
I am riding the same road with my son, who is 5 and was recently diagnosed as having PDD-NOS. It was difficult to diagnose him, because he has language and is very expressive. However, language reciprocity is not well developed, and doctors and therapists used to say it was because he is bilingual, and that by age 5 it would be resolved. Well, It didn’t and now we know why.

What a sweet boy, if I have a child like this later I would be so proud of him!

I just got the results for a six hour test I took at the Neuropsychological center recently. Apparently, I have PDD NOS. I’m a junior in high school, what can i expect from the school?

Does it make you feel bad when people treat you differently
No, but I wish it made them feel bad.

    How true.

  8. 65CA says:

    Excellent.

Thank you for sharing this! More people need to see how gifted and truly ‘normal’ you and my children are. We are the ones that define what ‘normal’ is anyway, keep up with your writngs. I’m letting Jacob watch this with me and he unfortunately has heard the word retarted before. It is hurtful and everyone should be included in this world, no matter what race, religion, ethnicity and yes even mental abilities. Good video!
