I have identical twin boys who both have autism. LOVE music! Not very verbal at all. Is your other twin verbal at all?

Thank you for your kind comment. Yes, they are both on the spectrum. They are 15 now. Blessings to you and your twins.

That was beautiful. I’m assuming that since they are identical twins, they are both autistic? I have 18-month-old twin boys who are now being tested for autism….

how are your boys in 2008? They should be my daughter’s age (14) by now.
I am always amazed at how easily it is for Autistic children to pick up songs than it is for them to express speech!
My daughter started out singing whole songs with no functional speech. She was mod-sev autism. She is HFA now. WE have done a lot of therapies with her. You can see her videos on my YOUTUBE account. Make sure you watch the “In a World of my OWN”. It is a real treat.

Absolutely adorable! He did a marvelous job. My 11 year old son has Autism, and he loves to sing as well. When travelling in the car, the little booger takes full control of the radio! :)

What a good singer he is!Are the 2 boys twins?

  22. littlemunchkinpetra says:

I have also autism and while having been unable to communicate with people all my life (I am 29), as I have communication difficulty and virtually don’t speak, I have always loved music.I have been singing since early childhood and it was nearly the only “communication”.Music helps me to express myself and my feelings, which I am unable to do through speech.

  23. roz805 says:

How cool, Michael! Music has so profoundly affected my kids in such a positive way – and it has helped me, too. When behaviors got out of control, I used music to redirect. They learned speech through song…I don’t know what I would have done without it. Keep those tunes on and enjoy the happy times with your son! BTW, my kids danced, too! I got them a kids microphone and that opened the floodgates with the singing. Happy Thanksgiving!

My son is autistic and he loves music. Soon as he gets in from school he instantly begs me for music of any kind and he just rocks out! Makes his day and makes mine as well. He doesn’t sing he just does these dance moves that blow me away! very cool video thanks for sharing.

  25. roz805 says:

    Dear Violet Angel-
I’m curious why you don’t think my sons have autism? Actually, the twins are most definitely on the spectrum of Autism. They attend a wonderful school for children with Autism-called The Help Group, which has helped them tremendously. Also, at the time of this video, his communication was limited to singing. He did not converse with us in any other way. Peace to you
