you look normal, and you sound manly, and if it makes you feel better, i cant hoola hoop either.

It is almost impossible to overcome some sensory problems as well. Thanks for the encouragement and positive comment!

I just looked at your profile and WOW are there ever a lot of videos of her. Thanks for the positive comment.

I think you did a great job explaining what HFA is to you. I also think you look very normal.
My daughter is 15 years old (almost 16) and autistic. There are many videos on my profile page of her. She has perfect pitch like you. She also just learned to tie her shoes! She has obsessions like you but not the weather. Hers is artist stuff.
I wish you well in all you pursue! Thanks for the inspiration!!!

It is wonderful to see people with AS speak of their life experiences. The world is for everybody and NOT just neurotypicals.

Having any form of autism includes having heightened sensory responses, e.g. certain sounds are painful. Some fabrics are painful. Some smells can make one feel ill. I know one person with AS who cannot stand the smell of talcum powder.

Thank you on behalf of everybody on the spectrum. Keep speaking in your own voice. NEVER pretend to agree with anyone.

I 37 and have Aspergers Syndrome too and I also have perfect pitch, which I think is cool. That’s the only thing which makes sense to me in the world, haha. Aspergers people are great and so are you. am

Me too! I didn’t learn to tie shoe laces until I was about 11. Even now it takes me a while to get it write. I don’t know about you but, I still have Velcro shoes cause I find them easier. Thanks for the reply.

  14. corymorrison1993 says:

Thanks for the comment. I CAN clearly tie shoe laces but it takes longer for me to do them.

  15. Sitheis2009 says:

About the holler hoop, know plenty of normal people who can’t do a holler hoop. I would say its more unusably not to tie shoe lases.
Good video anyway! Thanks for Uploading it.

I think you should take it easy on yourself, you seem to be a unique individual like everyone else, eveyone has strenghts and weaknesses, I’m sure you will be successful, and it’s very helpful to see your video, I have a young child with autism, and seeing you talk about your experience made me happy :)
    Best of luck
