I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this song! I am an educator for students with autism…in fact, the little boy at 3:05 was one of my students! His mom mailed me the movie “Walking in the Dark” because he was in it…& then I saw your introduction. Great song. Great movie.

I have two sons that have been affected by autism, and I love them both dearly and would not change one little hair on their precious heads, I love them for who they are exactly the way they are…. Songs like this are wonderful, thank you for sharing this.

This beautiful and moving song was played in some schools in the United Kingdom to mark Autism Sunday 2011 – some churches also played the song on Autism Sunday on 13th February 2011. ‘Missing Pieces’ raised a great deal of awareness on autism.

This is a wonderful video and hits very close to home, we love our little ones so much and it is devastating to find out that there are issues. To the parents going through this process right now, it does get easier and in many cases with our help, the kids will improve. Do your homework and give the kids all the support that they need and they will flourish, but it does require a lot of time and resources!

We’ve been working through this for 7 months now, this song just broke me down and I think for the first time I actually went through the whole grieving process. My son is a high functioning (right now), but has no speech. Thank you for this song. It’s beautiful!

I have two kids on the spectrum one is 5 and the other one is 3. I would give anything for them to count with a special sibling like you. You must love your brothers a lot to understand things how they are. I wish that one day my kid’s older brother understand, think and deffend his brothers as much as you do…Maybe he is too young now to understand!

God bless you always for being a special Sibling!
